Babar Azam was born on 15 October 1994. He is one of the most elegant batsmen in recent cricket history; a consistent, right-handed top-order player who combines technical brilliance with a calm manner that makes him a vital player for the Pakistan cricket team, as well as widely admired by fans globally.

Babar's cricketing career started on the streets of Lahore. His domestic cricket performances, marked by good quality and determination, subsequently earned him a place in the national side. His first international match came in an ODI versus Zimbabwe on 31 May 2015, and he gradually became one of the most reliable batsmen in the world.
